Hamza. Wikipedia tells me that in Arabic it means strong/steadfast/lion. There’s a tradition in my dad’s family of giving the first born son the middle name Sadik or Hamza; alternating each generation. I don’t know how long it’s been going.
Alexandra, because I had to have one excellent name and the feminine form of Alexander is pretty badass.
Chelsea. I was named after my father’s favourite soccer team.
Algia. Soft “g”. Al-jzhee-ah
Lynn. My sisters and I have placeholder middle names. My brothers got the meaningful ones.
